Lilybird and Company was born in 2008 as Cherie Anne Designs by Cherie Anne who, with her creative passion, artistic talent,

and love of community, had a vision at the local farmer's market.

In her hometown of York, PA. Cherie Anne introduced her one-of-a-kind

handmade creations along with a new level of quality uniqueness

and craftsmanship, triggering the handcrafted and locally crafted

movement In addition to her handmade creations, she added to her

brand by incorporating her own love of tea and herbs and started

offering a variety of loose-leaf teas and unique tea ware.

In 2010, Cherie Anne Designs took on it's own brick & mortar storefront in the heart of the Market District, just three doors down from the Central Market House, offering over 150 premium loose-leaf teas and tea wares in addition to many more hand-crafted and locally made products.

Cherie Anne Designs had become York's premier tea shop and gift boutique.

Truly a family owned and operated business, Cherie Anne's daughter Amanda joined her in 2013 and eventually took over the business rebranding it into Lilybird & Company in 2020. Amanda shares in her love and appreciation of teas and herbs and has a mutual affection for locally made goods and unique quality craftsmanship. Today, Amanda, along with her husband Will, daughter Lily and son Ash, are the hearts and minds behind Lilybird and Company.
